Flavor Flav pulls no punches in critique of Chiefs’ kicker Harrison Butker, following his controversial remarks about LGBTQ Pride and reproductive healthcare, among other things.

According to Billboard, the athlete delivered a commencement speech at Benedictine University, a liberal arts college in Kansas, over the weekend. During the address, the athlete boldly advised women to prioritize homemaking over pursuing a career.

In an unexpected twist, the kicker also referenced Taylor Swift, simply calling her “my teammate’s girlfriend,” — teammate being Travis Kelce — before quoting her single “Bejeweled” from her new album Midnights. “Familiarity breeds contempt,’ he said, cautioning church leaders against deriving too much satisfaction “from the adulation they receive from their parishioners.”

Upon learning of the comments, the rapper-turned-reality star took to X/Twitter to offer some sage advice.

“Sounds like some players ‘need to stay in their lanes’ and shouldn’t be giving commencement speeches,” he tweeted.

But, it didn’t stop there. Later, in his speech, Butker took aim at reproductive healthcare, Pride, what he called “the cultural emasculation of men,” and women in general.

“I think it is you, the women, who have had the most diabolical lies told to you,” he continued, speaking directly to female graduates.

“How many of you are sitting here now, about to cross this stage, and are thinking about all of the promotions and titles you are going to get in your career?” he added. “Some of you may go on to lead successful careers in the world, but I would venture to guess that the majority of you are most excited about your marriage and the children you will bring into this world.”

While Butker has not responded to the criticism surrounding his controversial remarks, Flav had a final say, writing, “God is Good,,, imma man of faith and am grateful for all the opportunities I have in my life to support women and their choices. My whole team is women with a WoManager and LawyHers and am blessed to be surrounded by great women in life [praying hands emoji].”
