Frank Ocean Riles Up Fans With Preview Of New Music

Frank Ocean, who is known to release music at random, has excited fans with a preview of some new music on social media.

The singer took to his Instagram Stories to share a preview of an unreleased song. The proposed track would be Ocean’s first bit of music since 2020. The clip that was shared with his followers is untitled but is 60 seconds of a four-minute long track.

Many fans flocked to Twitter to share their excitement around the news of Frank Ocean’s latest track. Most were mainly in disbelief that he had graced them with the possibility of new music.

Back in April, Ocean hinted at the idea of a new album while he took the stage at Coachella.

“It’s been so long. Everybody talks about how long it’s been,” he said to the crowd. “‘It’s been so long, it’s been so long.’ But I have missed you.”

“I want to talk about why I’m here, because it’s not because of a new album. It’s because — not that there’s not a new album… but there’s not right now. Chill, chill, chill. No, it’s not right now.”

Frank Ocean’s last album was released in 2016. Blonde debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200. In 2020, he released two singles Dear April and Cayendo.
