Ice T and Jim Jones hilariously poke fun at the tri-state area earthquake.

Earlier, we covered a 4.8 magnitude earthquake that struck New Jersey, resonating across the Northeast and reaching some parts of Philadelphia.

The earthquake struck at approximately 10:25 a.m. on Friday morning, with reports indicating its epicenter was northeast of Lebanon, New Jersey.

Shortly after, the rapper/actor, a New Jersey native, took to X/Twitter to humorously suggest to fans that the vibrations felt were not from an earthquake but rather from his headboard during “morning sex.”

On Instagram, The Diplomat MC admitted he was “late to the party” and, in the same breath, offered a piece of advice to early risers: don’t bother.

“Now I ain’t gone stunt. I’m late to the party. Next time when you n-ggas wake me up talking ’bout did you feel that? Ayo first of all. Ya heard,” he began in a brief video clip. “Second of all, we don’t know whose in charge. It’s back sunny. It was just freezing, raining, cold temperatures. God hit us with a little shake wakeup.

“If you n-ggas stop waking up so early maybe you wouldn’t go through all these things. I’ma go back to sleep though. I couldn’t tell you too much about it. But, it’s nice outside,” he concluded seemingly basking in the sunlight.

“Don’t ask me sh!t bout no Sh!t I don’t know sh!t about
#weavahmanjim Gdep is back home make God have us a lil Harlme shake lol I’m out,” he caption the post.

“monday is the solar eclipse so prepare your report now 😂,” responded one user in the comment section, hinting that people should brace themselves for more shenanigans.

“He said it was a Harlem Shake 😂,” another comment read, echoing Jimmy’s sentiments.
