A lawsuit recently filed in Miami has made startling claims against Diddy, while also mentioning high-profile figures such as JAY-Z, Beyoncé, and LeBron James. The plaintiff, Manzaro Joseph, alleges that he was subjected to sexual assault and humiliation at a private event hosted by Diddy in April 2015.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Joseph states that he was drugged and brought to a party held at the Miami estate of Emilio and Gloria Estefan, where Diddy was celebrating his son Christian Combs‘ birthday. The lawsuit details claims that Joseph was coerced into wearing a degrading mask at the gathering. The account further alleges that upon his arrival, Gloria Estefan noticed Joseph’s condition and attempted to intervene, but Emilio Estefan allegedly removed her from the situation. In a particularly unexpected claim, Joseph asserts that NBA star LeBron James witnessed the scene and made a passing remark, urging someone to address the matter.
The complaint also suggests that adult film actress Adria English led Joseph through a concealed passage to Diddy’s residence, where he encountered JAY-Z and Beyoncé. He alleges that Beyoncé, upon seeing him, reacted in disbelief and questioned the situation. Additionally, the lawsuit claims that a representative of Diddy made an ominous remark, insinuating that Joseph’s treatment was a form of punishment.
High-Profile Figures Deny Involvement as Lawsuit Targets Diddy and Associates
Joseph describes further acts of humiliation and mistreatment, allegedly involving both Diddy and English. The lawsuit also names well-known jeweler Jacob Arabo, stating that he appeared puzzled by the unfolding events.
Despite their mention in the lawsuit, JAY-Z, Beyoncé, LeBron James, and Gloria Estefan are not being sued. The legal action specifically targets Diddy, Adria English, Emilio Estefan, and Brendan Paul, who has previously been linked to allegations involving illicit activities. Diddy’s legal representatives have categorically denied the allegations, dismissing them as an attempt to gain publicity and financial compensation. “This complaint is entirely baseless and clearly designed to attract media attention,” his team stated, emphasizing confidence in disproving the claims in court.
JAY-Z’s attorney, Alex Spiro, has also refuted the lawsuit’s assertions, stating that the rapper was in New York City attending a public event at the time of the alleged incident. Supporting this, photographic records place JAY-Z at a TIDAL function far from Miami. Similarly, LeBron James’ legal team has called the allegations unfounded, pointing to his documented presence with the Cleveland Cavaliers during that period, making his involvement in the alleged events implausible.
Brendan Paul’s attorney has likewise dismissed the claims as meritless, questioning the credibility of the lawsuit. “This is beyond absurd. The claims against Brendan are entirely false and legally untenable,” his lawyer stated, signaling intentions to seek an immediate dismissal.
