Julia Fox celebrates 2.5 years of celibacy.
The actress shared via Tik Tok that she’s “never been better” amid her celibacy journey.
A dating app shared a Billboard that face some backlash. The statement on the Billboard read, “you know full well a vow of celibacy is not the answer.” One comment read, “Imagine pretending to be a Dating App FOR WOMEN and launching a million dollar ad campaign BLAMING WOMEN for a very normal reaction to mens violence.”
Julia Fox also shared a comment reading, “2.5 years of celibacy and never been better tbh.”
The news caught many fans by surprise as Fox was in a relationship with Kanye West back in 2022.
Previously speaking on the relationship, Fox says, “I mean, I think we all know what it is,” she began. “Dating that man for a month -– one month. And that’s why I have such a sour taste in my mouth about dating anyone in this sphere. Because I don’t ever want to just be known as someone’s girlfriend. I know I’m so much more than that.”
“And I feel like that happens so much to women in this industry,” Fox continued. “They’re only as good as their partner or they can make a whole career off being some guy’s partner. But regardless, either way, it becomes their identity. And I feel like I have to transcend that, and I want to break that mold, and I want to just stand on my own two feet and not need a man to back me. I did that for years. I’m good. I have established myself, and I want to keep establishing myself. And maybe one day I’ll even be taken seriously.”
She also revealed that she was not intimate with Kanye West during the duration of their relationship.
The couple broke up back in 2022. Julia’s rep sent a statement to Page Six saying, “Julia and Kanye remain good friends and collaborators, but they are no longer together.”
