Kai Cenat speaks out after fans criticized him for hanging with North West for her 11th birthday.
We previously reported that the popular streamer faced backlash for joining West for her birthday celebration. “It’s ok cause it’s a celebrity?? Make it make sense !!! Imagine your 11 yr old daughter saying I want to go hangs out with this 22 yr old guy from up the street for my bday …… automatic no!! A celebrity status changes that’s, how sway ????” questioned one fan.
Many fans came to Kai’s defense as West is clearly and simply a fan of Kai’s Twitch channel. “I hate that y’all try to make everything “weird”….he’s a streamer and she’s probably a fan and her parents can afford to have him pull up for her bday. It looks like they’re ready to paint. Where’s the harm?,” commented an Instagram user.
Following the mixed reactions, Kai addressed those social media users who called the interaction “weird.”
In a live stream Kai expresses, “everybody who made yesterday weird- here’s the thing. First things first, I’m North’s favorite streamer. Yesterday, all she wanted to was meet me. That was it. Literally all she wanted to do was meet me.”
He continued: So, anybody who was making it weird- that’s the weirdest thing ever. I have a whole bunch of parents whose daughter’s and son’s would love to meet me. We had a great time yesterday. North is great, she has a great group of friends around her.”
The streamer goes on to say the meet up was “epic” and he also got a chance to meet Kim Kardashian. Take a look below.
