Kanye West is officially a billionaire!

In an interview with Forbes, Kanye West revealed to them that he announced that he was a billionaire back in 2019 during an appearance at the Fast Company Innovation Festival.

In the interview, Kanye West said he told the audience that he showed Forbes an $890 million receipt, but they didn’t claim him a billionaire. Kanye’s team provided the publication with more proof of his earnings. The report showed statements that he has $17 million in cash, $35 million in stocks, and around $102 million in land/buildings. Kanye’s fortune is also a result of his Yeezy’s, in partnership with Adidas, his G.O.O.D. label (plus owning his music and publishing rights), estimated to be worth $90 million.

When the Billionaires Forbes list appeared earlier this year, without Kanye’s name, he reached out to them and said that they were toying with him. Kanye even claimed that the publication was “purposely a part of a group of media that was trying to suppress his self-made narrative because of his race.’ The article also states that Kanye was in his feelings that his younger sister-in-law, Kylie Jenner, was on the Billionaires list.

In all, Forbes estimates Kanye’s total worth to be $1.3 billion, which is $300 million more than Kylie.
