Duane “Keefe D” Davis, the man accused of orchestrating Tupac Shakur’s murder, has landed in more legal trouble after a violent jail brawl. While awaiting trial at the Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas, Davis was involved in a physical altercation with another inmate, leading to a new charge.

According to multiple reports, the fight escalated quickly. Davis and the other inmate exchanged blows, grappling and throwing punches before Davis allegedly placed his opponent in a headlock. The clash ended only when a corrections officer intervened, using pepper spray to separate them.

Court documents obtained by TMZ reveal Davis has now been charged with battery by a prisoner. When questioned, he reportedly defended himself by stating he was “just standing his ground.”

Davis has been in custody since September 2023, when he was indicted for his alleged role in Tupac’s 1996 murder. His arrest marked a major breakthrough in a case that had remained unsolved for decades. Prosecutors argue that as a high-ranking member of the South Side Compton Crips, Davis provided the gun used in the drive-by shooting that killed the rap icon.

Despite the allegations, Davis has pleaded not guilty. His trial is set to begin in March, and this latest incident only adds to the growing tensions surrounding the case. As one of hip-hop’s most infamous murder trials approaches, the world continues to watch, waiting for long-overdue justice.

Keefe D became a person of interest in the death of Tupac Shakur after conducting several interviews on the matter. He appeared on popular blog channels Vlad TV, Art of Dialogue, and more. Suge Knight would mention Keefe D on his new podcast, “Collect Calls With Suge Knight.”

Knight was with Tupac when he was shot multiple times in Las Vegas after a Mike Tyson fight. Knight would be shot in the head during the shooting.
