Kendrick Lamar‘s enemy list may have to make room for new openings in 2025.

According to reports, the wrestling duo New Day dissed K.Dot in his hometown during WWE’s Monday Night Raw debut on Netflix. Xavier Woods kicked things off, stating, “Think about it.” “The past six months y’all have been elevating this trash rapper Kendrick Lamar.” The remarks were then received by a swarm of boos from the sold-out audience. Kofi Kingston added, “Boo him! We think he sucks, too. Boo him, yes!”

Despite the crowd’s reactions, New Day seemingly embraced the fiery controversy. One X user posted, “Doing this in LA is insane work.” Another chimed in, “Top-tier trolling…” Critics online pointed out that the clip was exclusively available to arena attendees and Netflix users on the ad-free tier, leaving those on the ad-supported plan without access.

SHAWN Michaels Calls Drake and Kendrick to WWE, Travis Scott Joins Raw

Drake and Kendrick’s ongoing rivalry has previously ventured into the realm of professional wrestling.

In a twist last year, the two rap icons were urged by wrestling great Shawn Michaels to face off in the squared circle and resolve their tensions. He posted to X, “A little Sweet Chin Music goes a long way.” “@kendricklamar, you and @Drake are formally invited to #WWENXT to settle this thing. I’m even offering my services to mediate.” Michaels extended the gesture following K.Dot’s reference to his signature move, Sweet Chin Music, in the diss track “Not Like Us,” where he rapped, “Sweet Chin Music, and I won’t pass the aux, aye.”

Nonetheless, this blend of West Coast rap and WWE culture sets the stage for speculation: will Kendrick take notice, and could his music reflect this moment in the future?

Kendrick wasn’t the sole rapper making waves on Raw. Travis Scott also made a splash at the Netflix premiere, with his unreleased track “4×4” chosen as the show’s new theme. WWE’s Triple H initially sparked the buzz on November 17, revealing Scott’s involvement in the launch. The following day, Netflix confirmed that the rapper’s music would headline Raw’s fresh soundtrack.
