Kodak Black responds to DMX comparisons following health concerns.
While on Instagram live, a concerned fan questioned Black’s drug usage and compared him to the late rapper.
In response, Kodak explained, “man shut the f*ck up. Definitely ain’t going out like DMX,” Yak replied. “He a legend, though. B*tch I’d rather go out like DMX than go out like… [laughs] The f*ck? Is you dumb? I do be feeling like DMX though a lot of the time.”
Podcast hosts, Gillie Da King and Wallo, previously offered Kodak heartfelt advice, encouraging him to reflect on his responsibilities and influence.
“There are going to be times when you doubt yourself or feel pain, but those babies are counting on you. You’ve got to be here,” Wallo expressed. “A lot of people see your success and just say ‘yes’ to you. I’m not here to be one of them.”
“We’ve got to learn to change the narrative. A lot of young people are watching you” Wallo continued.
