Mase has been quite active on social media lately, and Wednesday (Aug. 3) was no different.
As he sat in the back seat of a car following a taste of a donut, the Harlem rapper went on Instagram and make an announcement no one was expecting.
“I’m on Crenshaw — just passed Pico, just passed Slauson,” he said on Instagram. “I’m out here to meet with Snoop so I can do another joint venture with Death Row Records.”
Snoop Dogg recently became the owner of the legendary record label. Death Row and Bad Boy Records famously had an on-going feud in the early-1990’s.
“I’ll be officially the first one signed to Bad Boy and Death Row,” Mase said. “And we gon’ get the 2Pac thing rekindled. Let’s see where we go with that.”
Mase has been making headlines as of late following a conversation Fivio Foreign had with the Million Dollar Worth Of Game podcast in which he revealed that he was in a $5,000 contract. That claim was rebutted a week later where Mase claims the comments were “reckless” and that he gave Fivio $750,000.
Yesterday (Aug 4), the Brooklyn native teased a song that sampled Mase’s 1997 hit “What You Want.”
There has been no confirmation from Snoop Dogg at this time.
