Meek Mill’s second attempt to get out of prison has been denied.
After filing a request for bail, Judge Genece Brinkley, who is the same judge who put him behind bars for violating probation against a prosecutor’s request, denied the motion.
According to TMZ, she claims that he is a “flight risk” and a “danger to the community” listing her reasons for denying his bail. She also claims his drug tests turned out clean due to him cheating on his test by using a product called “Fast Flush” to cleanse his system.
He has been sentenced to 2-to-4 years in prison due to his probation violation for a 2008 conviction for drugs and weapons.
Meek’s lawyer Joe Tacopina spoke on Judge Brinkley after the decision as he claims she: “continues her long pattern of unfair treatment.” He is looking to appeal.
He spoke with Ebro in the Morning in November about his problems with the judge and his next steps with Meek Mill. You can see that interview below.
