Nicki Minaj continues to prove why she is the Queen!
The “Barbie Dreams” rapper is on her way to making history! According to Chart Data, Nicki Minaj has sold 99 million units including albums, singles, and features certified by the Recording Industry Association of America. If Nicki earns one million more, she’ll become the first female rapper to have 100 million units sold.
This would be HUGE for Nicki! Not even her rap buddy Drake has these numbers yet. Rihanna is currently leading the way with 124 million units sold. Eminem is the only rapper to achieve this.
Aside from the drama in 2018 with Cardi B and people criticizing Nicki for her new love interest, she had a successful year last year. She dropped her fourth studio album Queen and she launched her own radio show, Queen Radio. The “Chun Li” rapper will also play a voice-over role in the Angry Birds Movie 2.

She’s expected to be the first female rapper to hit 100 million units.
