Bill Cosby is reportedly set to be released from prison “immediately” after a Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled he did not receive a “fair trial.”
The former TV star and comedian had appealed to the court in December when his lawyers argued that Cosby’s “entire life” was put on trial that caused him to suffer “unquantifiable prejudice.”
Bill’s former TV wife, Phylicia Rashad, spoke out in celebration of Bill’s release. She shared via Twitter, “FINALLY!!! A terrible wrong is being righted- a miscarriage of justice is corrected!”

Many social media users are outraged at Bill’s release, one user wrote, “he admitted that he did this and anything you got to say contrary to this fact will only piss me off worse..”

Bill Cosby isn’t free bc they found the testimonies false, he’s free bc he already plead guilty prior to the actual trial & they pursued it anyway, aka double jeopardy.
I wish the media would include that in their headlines bc it’s painting a dangerous narrative abt the victims.
