Thousands of residents were forced to evacuate their homes after a tsunami hit Indonesia. The natural disaster came “out of the blue” with “no warning,” according to a news report.
The article also says at least 222 people are dead, including two members from a popular pop band called Seventeen. 28 people are missing. Over 800 people have been injured.
The tsunami was set off by undersea landslides after an eruption of the Anak Krakatau volcano occurred. Footage from the terrifying moment:
