There doesn’t seem to be a light at the end of R. Kelly’s tunnel. The Grammy winner could end up with nothing after making millions over his 30- year career due to taxes and legal fees.
Kelly was recently charged with sexual abuse against three girls and a woman. In an emotionally charged interview with “CBS This Morning”, Kelly stated that people stole money from his bank account. Kelly was unable to post $100,000 bail after being arrested on 10 counts of aggravated sexual abuse. Due to the lack of money, Kelly spent a weekend in jail before being bailed out by a friend.
On Wednesday, after the interview aired Kelly was thrown back in jail for unpaid child support in the amount $161,000. After the hearing, Kelly’s publicist, Darryl Johnson stated that the singer’s concert dates are “drying up”.
