“No Flockin” Rap Star Kodak Black Arrested In Orange County, Florida, On Drug Trafficking Charges

Kapri previously faced charges in Broward County following a 2023 arrest involving allegations of cocaine possession, evidence tampering, and probation violations. Prosecutors pursued those charges while the rapper remained active professionally, continuing music releases and public appearances during the proceedings.

In 2022, law enforcement also arrested Kapri on allegations related to oxycodone trafficking and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription. Officers additionally cited him for operating a vehicle with an expired driver’s license and registration.

The newest case adds to a lengthy legal record that has frequently intersected with the rapper’s commercial success. Kodak Black gained national recognition in the mid-2010s through tracks such as “No Flockin” and “Tunnel Vision.” His albums, including Painting Pictures and Back for Everything, achieved significant chart success despite recurring legal scrutiny.

Authorities have not indicated whether additional charges could emerge from the Orange County investigation. Prosecutors and investigators also have not commented publicly on the evidence underlying the trafficking allegation.

The arrest generated an immediate online reaction as fans and commentators debated the rapper’s future. Meanwhile, court proceedings in Orange County are expected to determine the next phase of the case.
