Rihanna seemingly shaded Drake, admitting that love songs about her make her cringe.

In a Valentine’s Day promo for Savage X Fenty, she was asked to choose between love songs and love letters. Her response: “Ugh, please never make me a love song. That’s corny, trust me. I’ve seen it.” Fans quickly speculated that her comment was directed at Drake, known for writing several songs about their brief rumored fling.

Drake’s Heartbreak vs. A$AP Rocky’s Tribute: Fans React

Drake has revealed that “Fireworks” was inspired by the pain caused by Rihanna, and it’s widely thought that tracks like “Take Care” and “Days in the East” also reflect their past. Online, fans reacted strongly, with one commenting, “DAMN, everyone roasting Drake this year, huh.” Another said, “Drake gonna make a diss track, and if it doesn’t hit, he’ll sue for his feelings getting hurt.” Someone else joked, “I know Drake is SEETHING rn [crying face emojis].”

Though Rihanna isn’t a fan of love songs about her, A$AP Rocky has shown his love for her in his 2022 track “D.M.B.,” short for “Dat’s My Bitch.” In the song, he reminisces about their whirlwind romance, praising her “big amounts” in bank accounts, her “slim thick” figure, and her “tough love” attitude.
