Six Years Ago Kanye West Released: ‘Yeezus’

On June 18th, 2013, Kanye West dropped his 6th studio album Yeezus. 6 years later, this album features some of kanye’s hit singles including “Black Skinhead,” “Bound 2” and “Blood On The Leaves.” The album debuted at number 1 on Billboard’s top 200 charts, and is certified platinum. As if the success of the sells wasn’t enough, the album also earned Yeezy two Grammy nominations. What’s your favorite song off the record? Here’s some fun facts you probably didn’t know.

You may disagree with Kanye’s political beliefs, but it’s undeniable that he makes great music. In fact, in its first week- Yeezus debuted at no. 1 on the charts, and is one of Ye’s most critically acclaimed albums.  Although the album has some hits, it only sold 327,000 copies- failing to meet sales projections.
