The long-awaited Verzuz between two hip-hop powerhouses, Cash Money Records and No Limit Records, brought fans to their feet this weekend at ComplexCon in Las Vegas (Oct. 25, 2025).

This event marked the official return of Verzuz, curated by Swizz Beatz and Timbaland, and it lived up to the hype. No Limit’s camp came out swinging with nostalgic hits from Master P, Mia X, Silkk the Shocker, and others. Mia X especially wowed the audience with her commanding stage presence and fan-favorite tracks.

Cash Money fired back with their own arsenal of classics — including Juvenile’s “Back That Azz Up,” Hot Boys anthems, and Lil Wayne’s “Go DJ.” The energy was electric as both camps represented their eras of dominance in late-’90s and early-2000s hip-hop.

Snoop Dogg Makes Surprise appearance:

Midway through the event, the crowd erupted when Snoop Dogg emerged unexpectedly from backstage. The West Coast icon, who famously signed with No Limit in 1998 under Master P after leaving Death Row Records, joined the crew to perform his No Limit-era anthem “Down 4 My N-s.”

Fans instantly recognized the moment as a full-circle reunion — one that bridged regional sounds and reminded everyone how Master P helped reinvent Snoop’s career during a pivotal chapter in hip-hop history.

While No Limit’s reunion thrilled fans, Cash Money’s lineup left a few fans wondering. Lil Wayne and Turk were both absent from the stage, though Birdman made his presence felt — even taking a playful jab at Turk mid-show. Still, the label’s catalog carried the weight, keeping the audience hyped from start to finish.

The Cash Money vs. No Limit Verzuz was more than just a nostalgic night. Two of the South’s most influential labels came together to celebrate their legacies in front of a new generation of fans, while veterans like Snoop Dogg proved that timeless music and cross-coastal respect never fade.

The event also underscored how Verzuz continues to evolve, combining legacy catalogs, cultural storytelling, and viral guest moments into must-watch live entertainment.
