While many sports fans enjoyed Beyoncé’s halftime performance during the Texans-Ravens game, a few were not impressed. Unsurprisingly, Ms. Tina Knowles, the singer’s mother, immediatley defended her daughter. On Saturday (Dec.28), the 70-year-old jumped on her Instagram to take the haters head-on. The post, which consists of a screenshot from X, shares the same sentiment regarding the harsh critique Beyoncé receives.
“Irrespective of if you like Beyoncé’s music or not, it is PROOF and motivation no matter how undeniably talented you are, people will always, ALWAYS, always have some negative ish to say. Watching Beyoncé made me not care about what anyone thinks of me anymore,” the screenshotted post read.
Tina believes that many of Beyoncé’s haters are “obsessed,” “addicted,” and secretly admire Her
Tina then shared her thoughts in the post’s caption. “My sentiments exactly! It is mind-boggling to me that you would take your precious Christmas day and watch a performance of someone you hate and you don’t think has talent so that you can go talk ish about it later [laughing emoji] [laughing emoji].” Tina believes that many of her daughter’s haters are “obsessed,” “addicted,” and secretly admire Beyoncé.
“So go to another channel when it’s halftime, watch goofy cartoons or Bozo the Clown or something you can relate to and see yourself in. Said with love [heart emoji] [heart emoji] PS I have learned so much from her warrior spirit, of when they go low, I work harder “No weapon formed against me shall prosper” one, two, three waiting for the fake bots to come.” Despite the critiques, Beyoncé reigned in over 27 million views, the most an NFL Christmas game has had since 2001. Throughout her 15-minute performance, the singer used the stadium to bring her Cowboy Carter album to life.
