Twista is doing something DOPE for the culture!
The rap legend is making sure people know what they’re doing if they pick up a gun. Twista created The Gun Camp, to teach people how to use and shoot guns, plus the importance of firearm safety, All Hip Hop reports.
The Chicago rapper shared the news via Instagram. In the caption he wrote his motivation for launching the camp is due to everything going on in the world right now.
“I’m proud to announce my newest venture, with everything going on in the world I felt the need to properly train and educate those on having a firearm for safety. 2020 has certainly been a wild year thus far. Stimulationsly fighting two crises, health, and humanity. COVID-19 disrupted the lives of many this year, however, for over 400 years, black people in America have been fighting racism. The 2020 modern-day civil rights movement has seen a spike in protests as well as gun sales.
Twista wants to make sure people are properly equipped with his gun camp. All Hip Hop reports the class costs $499 and customers work directly with Twista as well as Joe Joe Stagen and Creative Scott, a pair of law enforcement specialists.
