Tyler, the Creator is celebrating the acquittal of A$AP Rocky.
While on his Chromakopia world tour, Tyler paid tribute to his “brother” who was found not guilty of felony assault charges.
Addressing the crowd, Tyler announced Rocky’s acquittal leading to the sold-out crowd chanting the Harlem rapper’s name.
“That’s a testament to watching who y’all keep around you, ’cause people be jealous, bum-a**, loser-a**, bitch-a** n***as that wanna take you down,” Tyler said. “I’m so grateful for my motherf**king brothers, I done had the same friends for almost 20 years. I love y’all n***as so goddamn much.”
“I know I’ve [said] it on 80 songs, but when I tell n***don’t call me ‘brother,’ don’t call me ‘twin,’ don’t call me ‘king’ … I’m not friends with these n***as ’cause they weird and they wanna see you f**king down,” he continued. “So shoutout to my motherf**king brothers that’s here, I love y’all to death, on God. And shoutout Rocky, my n***a free. Yessir.”
Tyler and Rocky have a long history of collaborating. Previously, toured and collaborated on tracks such as “Who Dat Boy” and “Wharf Talk.”
After Rocky’s acquittal, A$AP Relli who accused Rocky of shooting him during a heated argument in November 2021, broke his silence following the not guilty verdict of his ex-A$AP Mob affiliate.
“Gossiping is a form of entertainment for people who have no meaningful goals or purpose in life, hate me, bring shame to my name, say bad things about me, I don’t care,” he stated in an Instagram Story. “Your existence doesn’t add any value in my life [praying hands emoji].”
Upon leaving the courtroom Rocky expressed his gratitude to God and the jury for his acquittal.
“I thank God first. You gotta thank God first. And I really wanna thank the jury for making the right decision.” “I’m just so thankful. This is crazy right now. This whole experience has been crazy for the past four years but I’m thankful nonetheless. We blessed to be here right now, to be a free man talking to y’all. All praise be to God.”
