A$AP Relli has spoken out following the collapse of his criminal case against A$AP Rocky in court. The ex-A$AP Mob affiliate and close associate of the Harlem native had accused Rocky of shooting him during a heated argument in November 2021, leading to two felony assault charges against the rapper.

Following a prolonged trial that wrapped up on Tuesday (February 18), Rocky emerged acquitted, with a California jury delivering a not guilty verdict, sparing him from a potential extended prison sentence. “Gossiping is a form of entertainment for people who have no meaningful goals or purpose in life, hate me, bring shame to my name, say bad things about me, I don’t care,” he stated in an Instagram Story. “Your existence doesn’t add any value in my life [praying hands emoji].”

Backlash and Triumph: A$AP Rocky’s Post-Trial Reaction

Since the trial’s conclusion, Relli has endured significant backlash. 50 Cent, a staunch ally of Rocky throughout the entire saga, took to Instagram to mockingly dub him “A$AP Telli” in a post marking the moment. “Not guilty I told [ninja emoji] I would bet 500,000K he gonna beat it when A$AP Telli started getting tired of telling 5 days straight. BOOM. Now stay sucker free,” he voiced.

A$AP Ant, another member of the A$AP Mob, didn’t hold back in his criticism of Relli, posting on X: “Stupid fool really turnt rat,” accompanied by a snapshot of him on the witness stand. Meanwhile, A$AP Rocky has been nothing but cheerful since his acquittal. Speaking to reporters outside the courthouse following the trial, he stated: “I thank God first. You gotta thank God first. And I really wanna thank to jury for making the right decision.” “I’m just so thankful. This is crazy right now. This whole experience has been crazy for the past four years but I’m thankful nonetheless. We blessed to be here right now, to be a free man talking to y’all. All praise be to God.”

He also teased that his much-anticipated album could be imminent, dropping a cryptic “DON’T BE DUMB” on X (formerly Twitter). His acquittal sparked celebrations from his girlfriend Rihanna, Kanye West, Tyler, The Creator, and other notable figures.
