Ye‘s wife, Bianca Censori, briefly became the most-searched person on Google after her daring fashion choice at the 2025 Grammy Awards. Ye wasted no time celebrating the moment. Early Tuesday (Feb. 4), the Jesus Walks rapper took to Instagram to share the receipts.
“We beat the [Grammys],” he wrote in a series of now-deleted posts. “For clarity, Feb. 4, 2025, my wife is the most Googled person on the planet called Earth.” He followed up with a Google Trends screenshot showing “Bianca Censori Grammys” surpassing “Grammy Winners 2025” in search traffic.
Another screenshot revealed more than five million searches for Censori’s name, far ahead of “Kendrick Lamar Grammys” and “Beyoncé Grammys,” which each pulled in about a million. The spike came after she arrived in a black fur coat layered over a sheer, nude-toned dress—without anything underneath. Rumors swirled that the couple was ejected from the event. Ye, however, denied the claims and pointed the finger at Don Lemon.
Lemon quickly responded. “I did not start a rumor about you being kicked out of the Grammys. I actually corrected it,” the former CNN anchor said in a YouTube video. “I saw someone on your team who asked me to correct it because it had been reported everywhere.” Then, he added, “Get your s**t straight.”
Despite the media frenzy, Ye and Ty Dolla Sign’s CARNIVAL landed a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Song. The track went up against Future and Metro Boomin’s Like That, Rapsody and Hit-Boy’s Asteroids, GloRilla’s Yeah Glo!, and Kendrick Lamar’s Not Like Us—which took home the win.
Originally released in February 2024 on VULTURES 1, CARNIVAL featured Playboi Carti and Rich The Kid. The song later claimed the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100.
Ye acknowledged the achievement, dedicating the win to his collaborators and fans. “Rich, Ty, Carti, and the supporters who stood by us through everything—this No. 1 is for you,” he said. “It’s for the people who won’t be manipulated by the system.”
