Young Noble said that Tupac Shakur could have survived the infamous Las Vegas shooting in 1996.
During an interview with “Art of Dialogue”, the former Outlawz member said that Afeni Shakur made the final call while Tupac was in the hospital.
“He probably could have lived,” Noble said. “His mama said, ‘Nah.’ F### all that.’ I think he lost his finger and he was gonna lose a lung, trying to do all these surgeries. You know how strong your mama gotta be to say, ‘Damn, he probably could make it. I don’t want my son to endure no more pain in this world. Y’all tear him down.’
“His mom said, ‘Nah, let him go. Tupac had endured enough and that kind of strength is unimaginable,” Noble recalled. “She let her son fly.”
Noble also spoke about how the murder of The Notorious B.I.G. impacted him.
“Biggie dying affected us, too. I started questioning everything, like, ‘Man, maybe I should’ve stayed in school,” he said. “Maybe I made the wrong choice getting in that car with [Hussein] Fatal and Yaki [Kadafi] that day.’”
Noble went on to say that left his neighborhood for California for a better life. But what he discovered was tragedy after tragedy.
“Two of my friends gone, back-to-back. It was horrible—for me and for hip-hop,” Noble explained.
Noble also conspiracy theories that Tupac faked his death and fled to Cuba.
“He really died,” Noble said emphatically. “I saw him with tubes in his body. He wasn’t the ‘Pac with the six-pack everyone remembers.
Sitting down for his first interview in seven years. Noble was emotional and walked off the set when thinking about Tupac’s legacy.
“He was everything. The world in his palms,” he said, holding tears. “And yet, all people want to do is dissect his life on camera. He was amazing. He died at 25.”
Founded by Tupac Shakur in 1995, The Outlawz consisted of Yaki Kadafi Hussein Fatal (Deceased), Mussolini, Kastro, Napoleon, Komani, E.D.I. Mean, and Storm.
Group members appeared on several of Shakur’s songs including “Hit ‘Em Up” and “When We Ride” to name a few.
A trial will finally be held for Shakur’s murder is finally set early 30 years after his death.
Law enforcement arrested Duane “Keffe D” Davis and he is the prosecution’s lead suspect.
