Young Thug’s dad is letting it be known it’s all good between him, Gunna, and the YSL family.

During an interview last week with Infamous Sylvia, Jeffery Williams Sr. said Gunna didn’t do anything to hurt his son’s YSL Rico case, and he didn’t snitch. He also said the “Fukumean” rapper’s lawyer advised his client to take a plea deal because it was the “right thing to do,” XXL reports.

Thug’s dad said he loves Gunna. In addition, he said he advised the YSL member to continue to make music for the label.

In December, Gunna was released after serving seven months and then accepting an Alford plea deal. He’s been accused of turning his back on his YSL crew/snitching, which he’s denied.

Gunna showed his support for Young Thug during his first live performance since getting out of jail. He sold out Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, and showed the crowd a sign that read “Free Jeffery.”

Last year, Thug, Gunna, and dozens of YSL members were hit with a 56-count gang and racketeering indictment. Other YSL members were released but Thug remains behind bars, awaiting trial. It was set to begin in January but had multiple complicated delays.
