Congratulations Kanye West, you played yourself. After all of that kissing ass of the President-elect, not only was he not asked to perform at the inauguration (despite the lack of artists that the administration had to choose from), but the chair of the Presidential Inaugural Committee had some shade for him in the process.
We haven’t asked him. He considers himself a friend of the President-elect, but it’s not the venue,” Tom Barrack said. “The venue we have for entertainment is filled out, it’s perfect, it’s going to be typically and traditionally American, and Kanye is a great guy but we just haven’t asked him to perform. We move on with our agenda.”
“Typically and traditionally American” though? “Considers himself a friend of the President-elect” though? Not IS a friend? Damn, the shade is real!
