What was a good weekend in Atlanta due for the A3C Festival ended on a sour note during Lil’ Wayne’s performance Sunday night.
The rapper was giving his first perfomance since the release of Tha Carter V, when reportedly five tracks into the set, when it was cut short following an altercation in the crowd where some believed shots were fired. It resulted in fans rushing out of the area, and some getting trampled.
A statement from A3C confirms the altercation.

Lil’ Wayne also wrote a tweet in hopes that everyone was ok.
