In the world of reality television, you can never be too surprised.

It has been reported that OJ Simpson might be released from prison later this year on parole. If released he might be trying to make bank in his situation.

If he is indeed released, he might take his story to reality television.

According to TMZ:

The producers and agents with whom we spoke say they’re certain someone will try to recreate the TV special that was never broadcast for several reasons … years have passed, O.J. has done time for unrelated crimes, and ‘People vs. O.J. Simpson’ was a big hit.

Here’s the problem. Almost to a person, producers and agents said broadcast and cable networks would never air a show featuring O.J. They say the public wouldn’t tolerate it and no one would advertise on it.

That said, producers say there would be a home on Pay-Per-View because, as one person put it, “people could pay without being judged.”

Either way it’s not like he’ll be making any profits from it, because he still owes tons of money to the family of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald L. Goldman after being found responsible for their deaths.

With the success of multiple shows and documentaries on Simpson do you think he should try to take advantage himself?
