Minnesota Timberwolves player Karl-Anthony Towns took to Instagram with a video update on his mother’s health who is currently battling COVID-19.
Not only did the NBA player inform fans that his mother is now in a medically induced coma, he wants people to take this virus more seriously.
“This disease is real…This disease needs not to be taken lightly. Please protect your families, your loved ones, your friends, yourself.
As of now there are more than 50,000 cases of the Coronavirus in the United States, and the numbers continue to rise.
While Karl-Anthony Towns and his family are going through this critical time, he is sticking through the fight with confidence.
