On Monday (May 25th) an unarmed Black man by the name of George Floyd was murdered by police officers in Minneapolis.
The video footage released on social media displays 46 year-old Floyd begging for his life, telling the officer who placed his knee on his neck that he cannot breathe.
According to Jacob Frey, the Mayor of Minneapolis, the four officers involved in the death of George Floyd have been fired.
Floyd’s family recently spoke out in an interview with CNN stating that the officers’ losing their jobs is not enough, and that they deserve life in prison.
