50 Cent is not feeling Starz/Lionsgate.

Over the weekend, Lionsgate announced they’re exploring options to sell or launch a spin-off Starz, Hot New Hip Hop reports.

The news didn’t digest well with 50 Cent, who has several successful shows on the network, Power, the spin-offs, and BMF. In response to the possibility of the Starz network getting a spin-off, Fif said he’s considering buying Starz. The Get Rich Or Die Trying rapper said, “No Raising Kanan, No BMF, what do you think made their stock jump? I gave them two hits back to back Smh. These people be crazy, smart as hell but no common sense.”

In the comment section, 50 revealed he’s interested in obtaining Starz, he said, “I’m gonna look into buying the STARZ network.”

Episode seven of BMF was scheduled to show over the weekend; however, Starz put the episode out and pushed it back. 50 expressed his feelings via Instagram. He said, “I’m out til next week Saturday 12am because the sh*t people are gonna say when they find out BMF is not coming on this week.” Take a look. 50 could also be disappointed episode seven didn’t air because he directed it. He went on to say,

Starz is a shit show, they better sell it fast. They put the f*cking BMF show on, then took it down. what network does sh*t like that? They just ruined the anticipation of The episode i directed, I WORKED HARD ON THIS. I can’t work with these people anymore.” In another message, 50 said,

“They called and told me they wanted to hold episode 7 back a week so We can roll right into GHOST Nov 21. I said cool i like that idea. Then these sh*t head people put the f*cking episode out for 3 hours then take it down. ‍♂️ This is not ok, when I get uncomfortable i make everybody uncomfortable now who getting fired? until you figure that out don’t call my phone respectfully.”

In another message, 50 said, “Episode 7 of BMF is the best work i have done directing to date. I’m disappointed that STARZ handled this so poorly. I used my personal relationships to make things happen they couldn’t have made happen. @eminem thank you for doing this for me. I love you bro, you know i’m rolling wit you till the wheels fall off.”

50’s series are seeing a lot of success. In 2020, 50 took home his first NAACP award for Outstanding Directing in a Drama Series for his work on the Power episode “Forgot About Dre,” XXL points out. 50 won against heavyweights in the film world like, Ava DuVernay (When They See Us), Carl H. Seaton, Jr. (Snowfall), Debbie Allen (Grey’s Anatomy) and Jet Wilkinson (The Chi). Hot New Hip Hop points out in 2018, Power won multiple NAACP Images Awards for its outstanding work throughout 2017, including a victory in the category of Best Drama on the small screen.

Episode 7 of BMF is expected to drop on Nov. 14th.
