50 Cent is seeking sole custody of his son after allegations involving the mother of his child, Daphne Joy, emerged in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ recent lawsuit, sources say.

An insider close to the Get Rich or Die Tryin’ MC, as reported by US Weekly, revealed, “Given the latest developments and news of Daphne Joy’s involvement in the Diddy lawsuit, 50 is going for sole custody of his son.”

The news comes amid reports of Joy’s involvement in a sexual misconduct lawsuit filed by music producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones against Diddy, 54, in February. Jones alleged that the music mogul engaged in sex trafficking with multiple women, citing Joy as one of the purported sex workers employed by Puffy.

In his filing, Jones claimed that Diddy “bragged about having several women on a monthly stipend,” also naming Yung Miami.

Fif, on the other hand, previously indicated he was unaware of his ex’s involvement with Diddy, taking to Instagram writing, “I didn’t know you was a sex worker, 👀 you little sex worker. LOL 😆Yo this s—t is a movie.”

When 50 Cent (real name Curtis Jackson), 48, and Joy, 37, got together between 2011 and 2012, they welcomed their son, Sire, now 12. However, the couple split shortly after Sire’s birth. The New York rapper also shares a son Marquise, 27, with ex Shaniqua Tompkins.

We previously reported that federal agents raided properties owned by Diddy as part of an ongoing investigation into the entertainer on Monday (March 25). He faces accusations of sexual assault and sex trafficking, including allegations from his ex-flame Cassie, which have since been settled.

However in a statement to the Daily Mail, Aaron Dyer, an attorney for the rapper, maintained his client’s innocence offering up the idea that the embattled rapper is the victim of a “witch hunt.”

“Yesterday, there was a gross overuse of military-level force as search warrants were executed at Mr. Combs’ residences. There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated,’ Dyer said, painting a picture of yesterday’s events.

“Mr. Combs was never detained but spoke to and cooperated with authorities,’ he added, referencing Combs seen speaking with customs at an airport minutes from his Miami Beach pad, Monday evening, though was not arrested. “Despite media speculation, neither Mr. Combs nor any of his family members have been arrested nor has their ability to travel been restricted in any way.”

He continued: “This unprecedented ambush — paired with an advanced, coordinated media presence — leads to a premature rush to judgment of Mr. Combs and is nothing more than a witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits.”

“There has been no finding of criminal or civil liability with any of these allegations. Mr. Combs is innocent and will continue to fight every single day to clear his name.”

Joy has yet to address the allegations of her involvement as Diddy’s sex worker.
