According to reports, Brooklyn rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine could be released from prison “any day now” due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

The rapper previously asked the judge for an early releasee due to the pandemic, yet, his request was denied. It appears another decision will be made.

One source reports, “the Court directs that the Government respond by 5 pm. The parties are advised that, provided the Court has authority to grant the relief requested by defense counsel, the Court intends to do so (Signed by Judge Engelmayer on 4/1/2020).”

Now- today is April Fools’ Day, but this isn’t a joke. According to reports, the process began back on March 22, and looks like the final decisions are being made. 6ix9ine is eligible for early release because he is asthmatic, and with the outbreak of the coronavirus- people with asthma are considered to be high risk.

A decision will be made by the Government by 5 pm. We will keep you updated.
