Cardi B is always open with her fans, and last night (Aug. 28) was no different.

The rapper went onto Twitter to recall some of the struggles she experienced while recording her Grammy winning, and multi-platinum album Invasion of Privacy.

“I did it all while I was pregnant, “she wrote. “Throwing up, drowsy, terrible colds and in a rush to finish it so I can start doing music videos before I started showing. I spend 24 hours for months sleeping on a couch with my pregnant depressed ass in a studio.”

She also addressed the debate of her debut album winning over another great album in Travi$ Scott’s “Astroworld.”

“I wasn’t even thinking of winning or even the Grammies,” she wrote. “All I can think about was …everybody is disappointed in me, am I still going to have a career after this baby ? Is this album going to make me or break me ? I need to finish before I start showing .”

The hard work showed, as her project catapulted her into a bigger star which helped her crossover into the pop world!
