Chance the Rapper is changing the world one step at a time.
The Grammy Award winner is trying to save the arts with a brand new fund announced today.
He held a press conference at Chicago’s Paul Robeson High School earlier today where he continued his efforts to helps schools in his hometown and the arts overall. He has raised $2.2 million for Chicago Public Schools so far with help from the Chicago Bulls, Scooter Braun, and more.
But wait. There’s more.
He announced the New Chance Arts and Literature Fund to bring arts programs and different materials to schools in the area. Good news for students! They’ll start seeing the benefit in the upcoming 2017-2018 school year.
