Colin Kaepernick has officially began his workout with the NFL as promised.
The workout was scheduled to begin at 3pm but due to some technical issues the location of the workout was changed and the time was pushed back to 4pm.
A few things triggered the move of the Kaepernick workout:
1.) There was a significant problem with the type of waiver #NFL requested. Kaepernick agreed to sign a normal Pro Day injury waiver. NFL asked for a more complex waiver with clauses about non-guarantees of employment.

Kaepernick was out of the NFL for three years for silently protesting police brutality against people of color by kneeling during the National Anthem.
There were reportedly representatives from 32 NFL teams at the workout session including The Miami Dolphins, Denver Broncos, New England Patriots, New York Jets and the Washington Redskins, among others. The workout which was slated to be a private session, was later made public due to the strong media presence surrounding the event.

NFL declined to allow media and cameras into Colin Kaepernick’s workout as he had requested for transparency, per source. Workout now will be moved to alternative location in Atlanta this afternoon that will be open to the media and all NFL representative as allowed under rules.
