This may be the REAL reason Cardi B. threw a shoe at Nicki Minaj during NYFW.
On Cardi B.’s “Drip” off her debut album, Invasion of Privacy, although the Migos is featured on the song, Future was actually supposed to be on it. It seems as though Cardi B.’s claim that Nicki Minaj does whatever she can to stop her from getting to the bag, could be true.
Apparently, Nicki Minaj told Future NOT to collab with Cardi B. or else she’d pull him from their Nicki Hendrix tour, according to Page Six. This wouldn’t be the first time a rapper has claimed that Nicki tried to sabotage their career. Remy Ma also stated that Nicki did things behind the scene to make sure she didn’t shine.
