One of the most popular NBA players of all time is returning to the basketball court!

Hall-of-famer Allen Iverson is going to taking part in a brand new basketball league that is founded by Ice Cube and entertainment executive Jeff Kwatinetz.

The eight team. 3-on-3 league is set to start on June 24, and will include a good amount of retired NBA players including Kenyon Martin, Rashard Lewis, Chauncey Billups, Jason Williams, Mike Bibby, Bonzi Wells and more.

Iverson will be a player/coach in the league. Other head coaches include legends such as Gary Payton and George Gervin. Former NBA player and deputy director of the National Basketball Players Association Roger Mason JR. will be the commissioner and president.

The game won’t be too hard on the former players as it will be half court, and include NBA Jam type areas that include 4-point shots. First to 60 wins the game.

A draft will be helt in March to figure out the rosters for each team.
