Hurricane Chris has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder.

The ‘Ay Bay Bay’ rapper, whose real name is Christopher Dooley, was caught after allegedly fatally shooting a man at a Texaco gas station in Louisiana.

According to reports, the 31-year- old rapper stated that he acted in self-defense after the victim attempted to steal his car.

After the police reviewed the security footage of the encounter, they ruled that the shooting was not in self-defense and arrested Chris.

“Subject opened fire upon the victim striking him several times. The subject was found to be in illegal possession of stolen things”, the probable cause statement says.

The rapper was also charged with possession of stolen property due to driving the recently reported stolen car.

The unidentified victim died from his injuries after being taken to the hospital.
