Since the tragic passing of Nipsey Hussle, the family has been fighting a custody battle over his 10-year-old daughter Emani Asghedom.

Nipsey’s family believes Emani would be in better hands in their care instead of her birth mother, Tanisha Foster.

Tanisha is against her daughter being with Nipsey’s family but a judge granted Nipsey’s sister Samatha custody back in May. According to a report, she doesn’t feel her rights should have been taken away.

“ I strongly oppose both of the petitions filed by Samantha Alexandria Smith, Samiel Asghedom and Angelique Smith,” Foster says. “I am the other of Emani Asghedom and there is no good reason my rights as her mother should be taken away from me, or otherwise reduced as her mother.”

Tanisha claims that Nispey’s family stopped paying for the apartment Nipsey was renting for her. She also claims that he gave her large amounts of money in cash when he was alive but that has stopped also.

She says since his death, she’s had to depend on the “goodwill” of others to provide for herself.

Do you think the family should be responsible to take care of Tanisha?
