It’s about time.
Patrick Ewing is one of the most iconic players in New York Knicks history. One that thankfully hasn’t gotten kicked out of Madison Square Garden.
The hall of famer has been waiting for a shot as a head coach for years as it sat on the bench learning from some of the greats. Now he will return to his alma mater where he played from 1981-1985 to become its next head coach.
He is currently the associate head coach of the Charlotte Hornets.
