In an old clip from Jermaine Dupri’s show ‘The Rap Game’ a critic/mentor basically downplayed Nicki Minaj’s legacy as a rapper to look up to in the music industry.
The young contestants then began claiming that their inspirations in Hip Hop are artists such as Queen Latifah and Rah Digga; Jermaine Dupri later called out one of the young ladies, because she has mentioned Nicki Minaj as one of her idols in the past, yet changed her mind when she was put under pressure.
