This is sad.
According to a report, 1 in 1,000 black men and boys can expect to be killed at the hands of police.
The analysis also showed that “Latino men and boys, black women and girls and Native American men, women, and children are also killed by police at higher rates than their white peers.” The killing of black men is still a higher percentage.
The report also said that black men have a higher chance of getting killed by an officer than winning the lottery. Police violence against African-American men increased between 2013-2018.
Scientists are considering this a “public health problem,” with long-term effects.
