Stacey Dash is putting her recent domestic dispute with her husband behind her and calling it a “formality”.
The ‘Clueless’ actress took to Twitter to address the incident. “Like normal married couples, my husband and I had a marital dispute that escalated. The marital dispute, while personal and unfortunate, has since been blown out of proportion.”
We reported that on September 30th, Dash was arrested and charged with domestic battery and on October 2nd, she pleaded not guilty to the charges.
According to Dash’s website, no charges were officially filed by her husband and that the police arrested her peacefully and as a formality. Her husband, Jeffrey Marty also addressed the issue on his Twitter account.
“She was arrested over my objection at the time, but due to the pending investigation, I waited to comment until now. We both look forward to getting this behind us.”
