Suge Knight Will Serve 28 Years in Prison for Compton Hit-And-Run

Suge Knight, who is a music mogul most known for co-founding Death Row Records, signing talents like Dr. Dre, Tupac Shakur, Snoop Dogg and more, will be serving time in prison!

Former Death Row excutive, Suge Knight pleaded no contest to voluntary manslaughter in the case against the death of Terry Carter.

In 2015, Suge Knight allegedly ran over Terry Carter, and was facing life in prison.

The plea deal was reveled in court and Knight will be serving 28 years in prison.

Back In 2015 a video surfaced showing Knight putting his car in reverse and hitting one man, and then driving forward and hitting Carter, which led to his death.

Knight will receive a credit for the time he has already served which was 3 ½ years while he was awaiting trial. He will also be on parole for 3 years following his sentencing.

Suge stated it wasn’t his intentions to hit either men, but that he was just escaping the scene as he thought both men were about to shoot at him.
