Meet Symplicity, a group of 3 sisters who are making a name for them selves!
A cross between TLC and Destiny’s Child but with their own flare, the sisters aim to bring back the true essence of girl groups with their powerful voices and unique personalities. Symplicity are from Coney Island and striving to be an example for young girls out there while representing their hometown with the help of their father, a 9 time winning Apollo Night winner.
The ladies aren’t completely new to the scene though – you may have seem them on TV at an early age on 106 & Park and winning Icon Amateur Night at the Apollo. But you will soon them on TV again because they have a reality show coming out among other exciting projects in the works including a non-profit organization called S.W.A.D (Sistahs With A Dream).
Get to know Symplicity, they’re humble, can sang, and I say sang, and on the rise. It’s a pleasure for me to be able to showcase people on the come up because there are so many talented women there that people don’t know about. Ladies First is to inspire those girls out there who feel they can’t do it and switch their mind and show that you can do it and that’s what Symplicity is doing.
