T.I. Reportedly Set To Star In A Movie About Flint Water Crisis

T.I. is reportedly set to star in a film surrounding the Flint water crisis, in Flint Michigan. Will Smith’s Overbrook Entertainment will produce the film.

 

According to Deadline, the movie “Flint is about a spiritually reformed ex-convict who finds himself embroiled in a murder mystery, set upon by his ex-lover and a young mentee that unravels the very fabric of the water crisis afflicting the community he grew up in.”

 

T.I., Brian Sher and the late John Singleton will executively produce the movie.

 

The last Flint movie was released in 2017, and premiered on Lifetime with Queen Latifah.
