T-Pain Celebrates 1st Drifting Competition Win

Congrats T-Pain.

For years, T-Pain has been a fan of drifting battles. Now a competitor, he celebrated his first victory on social media on Sunday (March 24).

“I WON MY FIRST EVER BATTLE!!! We pulled up to @thelzworldtour and put on for @nappyboyautomotive in the @rtrvehicles #C137 #Mustang I can’t thank the community enough for accepting me and helping me along the way leading up to my first battle that was also my first win. Thank you @john_wig08 and @autoextremesinc for keeping the stang tight and ready. Thank you to @rjdrifts for not absolutely ripping my door tf off like he could’ve. I’m having a blast with all this man and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. BRRRRRAP!”

Fans have followed the entertainer’s drifting journey on his YouTube channel until his first victory. T-Pain owns an automotive division of his Nappy Boy brand. The Florida native drifted in the trailer of his Las Vegas residency at Zouk Nightclub. 

T-Pain made a song about his affinity for drifting in 2019 with “Getcha Roll On” from his album, 1UP. The album features Russ, Lil Wayne, Boosie Badazz, and Flipp Dinero.  “Getcha Roll On” is produced by Girl Talk. 

In music, T-Pain released a new single, “Dreaming,” in February and collaborated with Meghan Trainor for her new single “Been Like This.” He is scheduled to perform at this year’s Lovers and Friends Festival in Las Vegas and his own Wiscansin Festival in Milwaukee. With aspirations to perform at next year’s Super Bowl.
